<p>This article analyzes the history of the emergence and development of alimony obligations from the inception of the first regulations to the mid-1920s. The authors conduct a comparative analysis of the sources where child support regulations originated. They emphasize that the legal regulation of alimony obligations began in 1715, when the Military Article was adopted, first establishing a specific provision regarding the obligation to support minor children. Having carefully studied Volume X of the Code of Laws of the Russian Empire, the authors concluded that it was there that provisions regarding marriage, family, and child support were codified. According to the Code's provisions, family members were assigned mutual obligations, one of which was the obligation of parents to support their legitimate children. It is important to note that the 1782 Charter of Decency also contained a similar provision regarding the obligation of parents to support their children. The authors believe that the years 1917-1926 are considered a significant moment in the development of alimony obligations within family law. With the victory of the October Revolution and the beginning of Bolshevik rule, alimony legislation was practically rewritten for ideological reasons. The authors believe that the main similarity between the period of 1917-1926 and the preceding one is the recognition in both systems of the right of parents to support their children. In conclusion, the authors conclude that the 1918 KZAGS RSFSR is the first document of Soviet family law that systematized and detailed the provisions of the 1917 Decrees "On Divorce" and "On Civil Marriage, Children, and the Maintenance of Civil Registry Books," and which regulated many issues related to alimony obligations.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>алиментные обязательства</kwd><kwd>внебрачный ребенок</kwd><kwd>незаконнорожденные дети</kwd><kwd>законные дети</kwd><kwd>родители</kwd><kwd>развод</kwd><kwd>супруги</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>alimony obligations</kwd><kwd>illegitimate child</kwd><kwd>illegitimate children</kwd><kwd>legitimate children</kwd><kwd>parents</kwd><kwd>divorce</kwd><kwd>spouses</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">[1] Артикул воинский [Электронный ресурс].
